Photos of the planting of the Virginia Tech Memorial
Elms (http://picasaweb.google.com/vtufandarb).
Members of Xi Sigma Pi Forestry Honor Society and the Urban Forestry Club
planted these two trees. The trees are Princeton elms (Ulmus americana
‘Princeton’) and were donated by the Virginia Urban Forest Council and the
Bartlett Tree Foundation. If you want to see them in person, one is located
in a sidewalk cut-out between Hutcheson and Campbell Halls on the south side
of the Drillfield and one is located in front of Patton Hall on the north
side of the Drillfield.
