GOERLICH RECEIVES AWARDS

 Trees Virginia Board member Dan Goerlich has received two Awards of Excellence from Cooperative Extension Service-Southern Region. Goerlich, associate Extension agent and Virginia Tech’s field representative for forestry and natural resources in Virginia’s Cooperative Extension’s Central District was recognized for his article “Let’s Cruise” printed in Virginia Forests, Fall 2000 under the mass media-journal category. His second award was for the “Forest Landowner Education” project under the program impact category.
